A Brief Discussion on Maintenance of Bridge Cranes at Shandong Qilide Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd
1) Surface of bridge crane: Clean the surface to ensure no dust accumulation or yellowing. Check for cracks and open welds.
2) Large trucks and small cars: ① Check and tighten the rotating axle seat, gearbox, coupling, and whether the axle and key are loose; ② Check and adjust the wheel clearance of the brake system to make it symmetrical, sensitive, and reliable.
3) Check whether the gearbox of the bridge crane is leaking oil. During operation, there is a distinguishing noise from the box body, and the hood needs to be opened for inspection. It is usually caused by damage to rolling bearings, excessive backlash between transmission gears, or severe wear on the shaft neck.
4) Lift hoist: ① Check if the wire rope, lifting hook, and pulley are reliable, and if the wear exceeds the standard value, they should be replaced. ② Check and adjust the braking system to make it sensitive and reliable.
5) Inspection of steel wire rope for bridge crane. Common types include phosphating coated steel wire rope, hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope, and glossy steel wire rope. When inspecting the steel wire rope, the main focus should be on checking for broken bands, wear, knots, rust, and other conditions. For some parts with severe wear and breakage but not exceeding the standard, they should be marked for easy tracking and re inspection. Pay attention to checking whether the limit switch of the wire rope in the wire rope drum is reasonable, whether the wire rope pins on the wire rope drum are tightened, and whether the total number of pins is suitable.
6) Moisturizing: Check the oil and remaining oil in all positions, and add or replace lubricating grease according to regulations.
7) Inspection of the motorized pulley of the bridge crane. The most important thing is whether the wear of the groove bottom exceeds the standard and whether there are cracks in the pig iron pulley. The balance wheel of the inclined pulley system is easily overlooked due to its lack of posture in normal circumstances. Therefore, before installation, it is necessary to verify its rotational coordination ability. Otherwise, the length and tensile strength of the wire rope for lifting up and down during installation cannot be fully automatically adjusted based on the balance wheel, which increases the difficulty and work risk level of adjusting the lifting rope at heights.
8) Electrical equipment: ① Check whether each travel switch is sensitive and reliable; ③ Check whether the posture of each household appliance in the household appliance box is sensitive and reliable; ③ Check if the motor, bell, and power transmission line are reliable; ④ Check if the traffic lights are good.
9) Check whether the couplings of the bridge crane are loose or even have "rolling keys". The main inspection is to check whether there is abnormal wear on the ductile silicone ring of the ductile pin coupling. For the toothed coupling, attention should be paid to the wear of the ABS gear ring of the transmission gear. Due to poor installation accuracy and significant offset between the two axes, the main manifestation is that all ABS gear rings will quickly wear out in the short term. If such situations occur in the lifting organization, it is easy to cause major accidents.
